Recreational Gymnastics Australia (RGA) is in the process of designing and developing a Gymnastics Coach Accreditation Framework to focus on workforce development for recreational gymnastics programs. It aims to offer a simple, flexible and cost-effective training option for coaches of recreational gymnastics while delivering high standards of coach quality and safety.

This accreditation will be available from early 2023.

RGA will work to provide a foundation for recreational gymnastics coaches and motivate them to establish a promising career.

Our work is not complete until every coach succeeds.

Recreational Gymnastics Australia will advocate on behalf of the Gymnastics industry to improve access to quality, structured and continued learning. It will share its expertise with educators and policymakers, so you know how to strengthen and amplify gymnastics communities in addition to, evolving and enhanced training and development.

The future of recreational gymnastics depends on it, and the future is NOW.

The Group is on a mission to get kids active.

The surprising reality in Australia today is that four out of five children don’t get enough daily physical activity and it’s estimated that by 2025, a third of our children will be overweight or obese.

We want to get kids more active by creating a framework to train, accredit and provide insurance to coaches who coach recreational gymnastics – ensuring the fundamentals are aligned with development indicators.
