Are you ready to be part of the energy, fun, and excitement of Futures League competitions? RGA and Futures League are looking for enthusiastic, committed individuals to join our team of officials!

Who Can Apply?
We encourage applications from:

  • Coaches
  • Club Managers
  • Parents
  • Senior athletes

You should have:

  • A strong understanding of skills across our movement-based divisions.
  • Commitment and enthusiasm to judge athletes of all ages fairly and safely.
  • High energy and a positive attitude to bring the excitement and vibes to every event.

Pay Rate
Our Officials Pathway allows growth as you develop your Officials Event Journey. Starting at $25 per hour up to a potential Mentor level at $40 per hour its a great way to earn additional income.  You are paid as a hobbyist so its direct into your bank account. 

Hours
A standard one day event is an 8am start and a 6.30pm finish. Giving you a 10 hour shift with a 30 minute break. Some events will be over one day, others over 1.5 hours and others on rare occasions 2 full days for our State Championships.  Our competitions schedules are already locked in for the season and final work orders with session days/times will come out 5 weeks before the event weekend. Giving you plenty of time to plan.

Training
We provide the training. This is made up of 3 online courses, that a very quick and easy to complete giving you an understanding of being an official, child safety and complaints (not that we get many cause we are all about fun). 

We then do 3 online information webinars. These are broken into the core values, expectations and atmosphere/energy of out events in session 1. The second session is around scoring and our score program a simple and easy to understand system. The final session is around the execution, routines and what each score value is made up of. You are paid a set amount for undertaking the training at the conclusion of the training program.

How to Apply

  • Submitting your interest is simple by submitting the form below:
  • Officials must be available for the Futures League season (July–October).
  • You must be willing to contribute to at least 80% of the season events. (We will also consider applications from those who can only do 50% as backup Officials)
  • Events are on Saturday and Sunday
